How does our home instruction tuition?

We start by offering a complimentary consultation and assessment via phone or teams. To help us match your child with the most suitable tutor, we may ask to review school reports or samples of their work. After the initial assessment, we check our team’s availability to find the best tutor for your needs.

Where are sessions held?

Tutoring sessions are typically held in your home or at another agreed-upon location. We also offer online and hybrid tutoring arrangements to accommodate your preferences and schedule.

How do we choose our tutors?

Our tutors go through a thorough four-stage selection process:

  1. We review and discuss each applicant’s CV and cover letter over the phone.
  2. Candidates participate in face-to-face or virtual interviews, where we evaluate their teaching style through various scenarios and questions.
  3. We complete detailed reference checks, verify their qualifications, right to work check and ensure all tutors have a current valid DBS.
  4. Before starting with any family, every tutor must sign our code of conduct and contractual agreement with Tutor Connect.
