How It Works
Our Step-by-Step Process

Setting up a tutoring programme can feel like a lot to navigate — from choosing the right pupils to sorting out session timings. With over a decade of experience partnering with schools, we guide you through every stage, which is why so many of our partner schools choose to work with us year after year.

01

Get in Touch

Once you’ve submitted an enquiry, we’ll reach out within one working day to get things moving.

02

A Conversation With Us

We’ll set up a call — online or by phone — at a time that suits you, to talk through what a tutoring programme could look like for your school. This is your chance to ask questions, explore the options available and get clarity on pricing.

03

Share Details on Pupils and Scheduling

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll gather some background on the pupils joining the programme — including baseline and demographic information that helps us track progress and group pupils effectively. You’ll also confirm your preferred timings and programme size and we’ll get to work matching tutors.

04

Introducing Your Tutors

Before sessions begin, you’ll meet the tutor(s) assigned to your school. This is a chance to brief them on what you’d like covered, share relevant context on the pupils they’ll be supporting and talk through any questions on your end.
We’ll also use this meeting to walk tutors through your school’s safeguarding and fire procedures, expectations around dress code or equipment like calculators and who to contact if anything comes up during a session.

05

Sessions Get Underway

Once tutoring starts, pupils complete a short diagnostic — around 10 to 15 questions — aligned with National Curriculum expectations for their year group and subject, along with a brief survey on how they feel about the subject and what they hope to get from the programme.
This information goes straight to their tutor, helping shape sessions around each pupil’s individual needs.

06

Support Throughout

Around the three-week mark, we check in with a short review to make sure things are on track and to flag any pupils who might need extra encouragement to stay engaged.
Our team stays involved throughout and You’ll have a named Coordinator overseeing the programme, always reachable by phone or email.

Wrapping Up and Reviewing Impact

As the last week of programme draws to a close, pupils complete a final assessment and share feedback on their experience. We’ll then arrange a review call with you to go over progress, gather your thoughts on how things went, and discuss what a future partnership could look like.
