Our secondary offer is built around that reality, giving schools a flexible way to close gaps, build confidence, and support pupils through some of the highest-stakes years of their education.

How We Work With Secondary Schools
Just as with our primary programmes, we start by understanding what your school actually needs — whether that’s whole-cohort support ahead of exams, targeted intervention for specific pupils, or catch-up support following periods of absence. Sessions can run as 1:1, or in small groups of up to four, depending on what will have the most impact for your pupils.
GCSE Core Subject Support
Our tutors provide focused support across Maths, English Language, English Literature and Science, helping pupils build the skills and confidence they need to reach — and ideally exceed — a grade 4. Given the requirement for pupils to resit Maths and English if they don't achieve this benchmark, we place particular emphasis on early intervention, so pupils are set up to succeed the first time around.
Support for Pupils Facing Additional Barriers
For pupils who need more tailored, 1:1 support including those in alternative provision, looked-after children, or pupils with significant absence from school our Enhanced Support programmes offer a more personalised approach, building on everything we've learned from supporting similar pupils across the country.
Working in Partnership With Your School
Every secondary partnership comes with the same level of support you'd expect from our primary programmes: a named Coordinator overseeing delivery, access to real-time attendance and feedback data through our partner dashboard, and regular review points to make sure the programme is delivering results. Our Quality team also visit in person to observe sessions and ensure consistently high standards of delivery across every school we work with.
Exam Preparation Booster Sessions
As exams approach, we offer intensive booster programmes designed to consolidate knowledge and build exam technique. These can run across a full term or be condensed into a shorter, more intensive block in the run-up to exam season, with pupils receiving more than one session a week where needed.
